ICT eGovernance Committee (ICTGC) Holds its First Meeting following the New Formation

The National Information and Communication Technology eGovernance Committee (ICTGC) held its first meeting following the reformation of the committee, chaired by Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive Mr. Mohammed Ali AlQaed.

Following the declaration of the new formation, the ICTGC now comprises members who represent seven governmental entities: Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, Economic Development Board, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and University of Bahrain – including Mr. Mohammed AlQaed as the Chairman and Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed AlKhalifa from iGA as Vice Chairman. The committee showcased, during the meeting, the outcomes of the IT Reduction of Recurring Expenditures Taskforce.
